CERAMIC COATING CARE GUIDE
Your coating is cured and protected. Here's how to keep it that way.
STEP BY STEP CARE
1
FIRST 7 DAYS — KEEP IT DRY
No washing for 7 days while the coating fully cures. Avoid rain and sprinklers, and never leave water spots sitting on the paint. Park inside or under cover when you can, and don't wipe dust off with a dry towel.

WASH EVERY 2–4 WEEKS
Use the two-bucket method with a pH-neutral shampoo and a soft microfiber wash mitt. Work top down — roof, glass, then paint — and use a separate mitt for wheels and lower panels.

DRY IT — NEVER LET IT AIR DRY
Dry with a clean microfiber drying towel or a blower. Water left to dry in the sun leaves hard water spots that etch into the coating.

BUGS, BIRD DROPPINGS & TREE SAP — RIGHT AWAY
Soak the spot with water or a quick detailer, then lift it with a soft towel. These are acidic and will stain if they sit, and scrubbing them dry scratches the paint.

NO HARSH PRODUCTS
Skip automatic brush car washes, dish soap, and acidic wheel cleaners on paint. Never polish or wax over the coating — wax sits on top and blocks the ceramic, killing the slickness and the water beading.

TOP IT UP EVERY 1–2 MONTHS
A ceramic detail spray or booster restores slickness and brings the water beading right back.

PARK SMART
Garage when possible. Avoid sprinklers (hard water), fresh tree sap, and construction dust.

CHECK THE BEADS MONTHLY
Water should still bead tight and roll off. If it starts to sheet instead of bead, call us — don't wait until the protection is gone.

COME BACK FOR A MAINTENANCE WASH
A maintenance wash every 3 months (or as we recommend) keeps the coating performing at its best and keeps your warranty active.

✕Automatic brush car washes
✕Dish soap or household cleaners
✕Dry-wiping dust, bugs or bird droppings
✕Wax, polish or abrasive compounds over the coating
✕Leaving bug splatter, sap or water spots to sit
✕Reusing the same towel on paint and wheels

2-MONTH CERAMIC COATING WARRANTY
Drive Fresh Detailing warrants the ceramic coating applied to the vehicle below for 60 days from the service date.

✓Loss of water beading (hydrophobic performance) under normal use
✓Application defects: hazing, streaking, high spots or uneven coverage
✓Premature coating failure caused by the application itself
✓Remedy: we re-correct and re-apply the affected panels at no charge
NOT COVERED
✕Improper washing — brush car washes, dish soap, or abrasive or dirty towels
✕Contaminants left to sit: bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, tar, hard water spots
✕Swirl marks, scratches, chips, dents or stains from normal wear and road debris
✕Work performed by another shop, or wax, polish or abrasive products applied over the coating
✕Vehicles not washed at least every 4 weeks
✕Pre-existing damage noted on the service order
TO KEEP THIS WARRANTY ACTIVE
✓Wash every 2–4 weeks with a pH-neutral shampoo and clean microfiber towels
✓No brush car washes, no dish soap, no wax or polish over the coating
✓Return for a maintenance wash within the 60-day period
✓Keep this document and your service order receipt
FILING A CLAIM
→Call or text (636) 406-1766 within 7 days of noticing the issue.
→Bring the vehicle in for an inspection — we'll confirm whether it's a coating failure or outside damage.
→Approved claims are scheduled within 7 business days.

This warranty covers the ceramic coating application only and is non-transferable. It does not cover paint condition, clear coat failure, or damage that existed before the service. The warranty is void if the care instructions above are not followed.
